Curriculum
During the motor vehicle driver training process, candidates must complete the following:
- CPP course - the theoretical part of the training with a knowledge test of road traffic regulations,
- medical examination,
- first aid course and exam,
- exam in the theoretical part before the examination centre committee,
- practical training with a knowledge test and
- practical exam before the examination centre committee.

Anyone who has successfully completed:primary education or
lower vocational education or equivalent education according to previous regulations.
Exam
The method of obtaining basic qualifications through a knowledge test includes a theoretical and a practical test.
The theoretical knowledge test must last at least four hours.
The practical knowledge test must last at least two hours and includes a driving test to assess competence for rational driving based on safety regulations, which must last at least 90 minutes.
The commission issues a certificate to candidates who successfully pass the theoretical and practical knowledge test, confirming that the candidate has passed the basic qualifications for a specific category of vehicle, with which they enter the code 95 on their driver's license, which is valid for 5 years. This curriculum is tailored to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career as a bus driver in Slovenia, incorporating both traditional and modern aspects of the profession, and ensuring strict adherence to Slovenian transportation legislation.
